Claire's 2 Month B-Day


It's hard to believe my little girl is already 2 months old! They grow up so fast! Her 2 month birthday, Claire got an ear infection in her left ear. Claire has been  fussier than usual and a little clingy, wanting to be held and the like. OUCH! Our poor baby! Melissa took her to the doctor last Thursday and again Monday. She's gotten the medicine routine down pat and even downs yucky amoxicillin and children's Tylenol without much fuss. Even not feeling well, Claire is pretty happy most of the time and seems to be on the road to recovery. She's getting big, weighing in at just under 12 lbs! She is just about out of her 0-3 month clothes...eek! You can see her headrest on her carseat is getting a bit snug.




Last Sunday, Claire became our newest little rolly-polly! During tummy time, she showed us how good she can roll from her tummy to her back. She's rolling like a pro!


Claire wasn't quite sure about her first Halloween. At first, she did NOT like this costume business, and she definitely did NOT like getting put inside an empty pumpkin. Once she found out she got lots of free candy  for being a cute little peapod, however, Halloween took on a  whole new meaning! Claire had her own tiny pumpkin, but was it was too little to carve. She just watched hapily as we de-gutted ours.We even made these pumpkin muffins and pancakes to celebrate the season!

Claire got this cool swing, that she LOVES! She even fell asleep in it one night, so we left her in it... mishap unmentioned.
We are staring to run out of room in our small apartment and Claire has only one tiny dresser, that needless to say is having problems. One thing is for sure, no end of clothes for this little girl! You should see the laundry!


I was gone on a Scout Camp out this past weekend, so Claire had her first Grandma Whitley's Sleepover (parents must attend if diapers are required), so Melissa went along to chaperone and make sure things didn't get too crazy . Claire was very good and had a blast by all accounts!

This month, Claire was blessed. We had family from both sides in town to come see her get blessed.

What a good girl our little Claire is! :) She is so cute...I can't believe how big she's gotten! 2 months old already...before you know it she'll be going to school! :)

What a fun post! Things look pretty busy at your house, what a fun Halloween (not counting Claire getting put in the pumpkin--but I'm not sure I'd like that either!)So exciting that is learning how to roll--I'm excited to see her perform!

Hey, what a great post! It was a happy surprise. I love the cute little Claire-pea-pod pictures! I can tell she enjoyed her first Halloween. Sorry about the ear infection... but I'm sure she's glad she is in the real world to experience it. :)
